    Australia has one of the highest costs for DVD's, CD's etc because of the greed of multinational multimedia company's so it is no wonder we have one of the highest rates of piracy in the world.
    If they reduced pricing to a reasonable level then there wouldn't be a problem.
    The government is an institution for supporting company's and not giving a crap about the people except at election time.
    Don't piss off old people.
    The older we get the less "life in prison" is a deterrent.

    Unfortunately your government won't get such a large pushback like we Americans gave over SOPA/PIPA/ACTA. I guess that's just the way it is.

    Copyright, in my opinion, is such a stupid concept. At it's core, it's claiming ownership over ideas. That's actually kind of sad that not even thoughts are safe from monetization in this world.
