That's the irony about all the Russia stuff. This isn't the 80's; if Americans gave a rats ass about an ultranationalistic, third world shithole with no industry, then we wouldn't laugh at North Koreas face.

It's pretty funny actually. All these third world countries spouting "the west is evil", "death to America" and "white devil" kind of stuff is really pretty cute. What do these people actually think, that they're going to become the leaders of the world again? Nah, we run the show now. While their times where dominated by waring tribes, crazy religiosity and mongols being mongols, we have had an unimaginable growth in population, technological revolutions which make us appear as Gods, and more. Hell, we've been to the moon and back, and given a few more decades the stars too can very well be ours.

Death to the "west" is death to humanities future.
