depends on the officer, I've met nice cops and then I've met total douchebags.
one time I got pulled over for not using my blinker and the cop begins to act like a total douche asking if I've been drinking/doing drugs and asking tons of stupid shit. after he gets my license he realized that I'm one of his son's friends and started to act like a nice guy.

I've also met nice cops and I have no problem with someone who is just doing there job, but if the cop is being a ***** about everything then yeah people have a right to give them a hard time.
