Beasty, we call that wood tier.
Also, Hawk, when you start off, it's like that. Keep playing normals and once you hit the 500 win mark, this doesn't happen as much.

If you have more wins than you're losses you won't face bronze elo nubs. Probably about 50 wins over you're losses would do.

There was also a pro player who went from Bronze V to Challenger in a year and a half I think and was asked to join a pro team.

Well most of those people played with the same teammates. It's pretty much really hard to do it by yourself.
