With me, I'm looking to end up as gold 2. I would love platinum but the time constraint might limit that.
It was my first season so I guess I can only say it was nice. Provisionals were decent although I think I could have won a couple more. Even then, I was somewhat satisfied ending up as silver 4 especially after everyone telling me that I would end up in bronze III-V for certain. I was myself a bit unsure if the game would be even playable with this latency. From silver to gold the climb was real smooth.
But, I made some stupid choices in gold and had quite a bit of bad luck. I experience(d) elo hell in gold V.Gaining 9-11 LP and losing more than 20. Eventually I have understood a lot on winning lane and that has helped me recently.
I'm also looking forward to next season, I plan to write guides on lolking or mob afire. Perhaps start with a few aram guides and then move on to ranked.

Wrong on both accounts.
Firstly, I'm taking this more as a personal, academic and literary exploration rather than to become extremely popular. I'm well aware that writing a guide might not instantly generate a million views.
I've seen some platinum guides get at least half a million views. Even a gold V akali video guide get thousands of views. Regarding aram, there is a niche that is very much into it. Lot of riot employee posts on the discussion boards about it. If I do write a guide, its for me and the 10 million people that play this game; of which I'm sure a significant population are interested in aram.
People casually blog about food, technology and various issues. I want to start somewhere I have sufficient knowledge.

guides only get views if your high elo like phoenix said however if you're low elo like plat or gold, you'll need to main that specific champ in ranked; preferably with 200+ games and obviously at least a 50% win rate
i7-5820k @ 4.7 ghz, Asus X99 sabertooth TUF, Kingston DDR4-3200 16 GB
Corsair H110i GT AIO, Samsung 850 Evo 250 GB x 2, EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC2 Hybrid
Asus ROG Swift PG279Q 1440p/165hz, Corsair AX760w, Corsair Obsidian 750D

Second post:
What the fuck was rito even thinking. Now everyone and their brother is going to use that gay fucking champ cancergana. Should have been Victorious Lucian or Victorious Yasuo. Not that teemo tier sperg lord champ.
They might as well just make a Victorious Galio or some shit.
