I have the HTC One M7 since day 1 and the HTC One M8 since day 1 ;3
For free ;D XA-Developers ftw! Now lemme tell you a little what I know about the differences ;D

Why M8 > M7:

- The unique metal unibudy which won Mobild World Congress 2013 AND 2014 Arward "Best Smartphone" (Yes, a SNAPPY 600 won 2014 against all dem SNAPPY 800s!) is now a unique wraparound metal unibody with wider corners and way smoother curves, feels better in your hands.
- You are holding a phone made by (premium) air-plane-aluminum. Metal is metal tho in the end haha
- 90% metal compared to 70% of the M7's unibody
- Dot-View Case <33333333333333333333333333
- Slighty bigger screen: 5" compared to M7's 4,7"
- No 2560x1440 screen because when you stream 1080p One M7 or M8 to a 1080p Monitor/TV it doesn't need to resize the video etc.
- Bigger battery: 2600 mAh to M7's 2300 mAh
- HTC optimized battery life A LOT. With alot I mean alot.... The extra 300 mAh do feel like 800+ to me comparing to my M7.
- Better CPU: Snappy 801 vs 600
- DUO-Camera: uFocus ftw!
- Louder BOOMSOUND speakers. The 5 loudest phones in the markets? HTC One M8, One M7, One Max, One Mini2, One Mini!
- Has on Screen Buttons since the buttons at the M7 at the veeeeeeeeeeeeery bottom are very awkward to reach. Takes a lil of the screen so it can be a NEGATIVE too.
- 128GB MicroSDXC support ;3

- 64GB free Dropbox Space compared to the free 32GB of the M7 you get free.
- Front facing camera is 5MP; and other than that the pics are way sharper than the M7's 2.1 MP when u render the 5MP pic to 2.1 MP for comparison
- Motion Launch. Swipe up on your screen while it is off to unlock it.
- Ultra battery saving mode - M7 has it too since the 4.4.2 Sense 6 patch ;3
- Faster updates than SAMESUNG..... M8 runs 4.4.3 with the 4.4.4 security updates since a (long) while. The M7 too (:. M7 will get Android L for the GPE 1 week after release, DEV edition will get Android L 1 month after and the international versions 3 month after. HTC said M8's international will get it before the M7 does, so technically in 2 months and 29 days lol
- Two flashlights. But those Ultrapixels dont really need it in normal cases ^^.
- Headphone jack is at the bottom of the phone and makes it less awkward when listening to music




Negatives of M8:

- Pretty big for a 5" phone
- On screen button take a lil away from the screen
- More expensive, but lol


Negatives of M7 AND M8:
- The god damn power button is at the fucking damn ass bitch nigga top lol.
- ^ Idc since I have motion lauch gestures on both M7 and M8 so I just swipe up to unlock
