lol the first time I went in ranked i was lke, wtf are rune pages? And got 3-7 wins, won my first 3 then lost 7 in a row. Got placed into bronze 2. But you only won 2 games and got to s4? The fuck? I'm guessing omega carried you a lil bit of elo. Because 2-8 would place you into bronze 4.

Lucian mid is shit, it's a ton of crap, it's all about that corki or kogmaw mid. Mostly corki, his ap damage is real.

Lucian mid has an extremely safe laning phase and his Q can harass and last hit minons at the same time. Provided you are warding (which you should be if you're not a retard), you can easily utilize your passive to bully the enemy mid laner without worrying about a gank, especially against someone really squishy or a melee. Once you hit level 2 or 3, you can just poke them down from a safe distance before all inning them, which if you utilize your passive to it's full advantage and have ignite should get you a kill or at least a base unless you're garbage.

His only downside is that when's he mid he's really mana hungry, so you need to get an early tear or blue buff (though I grab tear regardless because manamune will really help you in the mid game with that extra damage).

Yea I raised his elo a bit.. Tried to give him all the kills even if we did lose the game so he would end with a good kda, but he didnt do all that bad.

I won 6(without duoing) and was placed in silver 4 too. I was a bit disappointed as well, as I definitely could have won 2 more and been placed a couple of divisions higher. Honestly everyone has to deal with afk's/toxicity in at least some of their placements.

If you think you've been placed too low due to bad luck and as such, the system allows you to rapidly advance at first. You should be gaining alot of LP per win and losing a little each loss. On the other hand strings of losses will get you demoted and if you start losing at silver V with 0 LP its pretty much gg to your ranked progression unless you get demoted to bronze.

I looked at a couple of your ranked statistics, will of the ancients on orianna was strange.

Is it strange? I like it on her- besides the decent ap, the CDR is useful (especially after you grab your grail), and the spell vamp on her Q + E makes her already great zoning/harass potential even better.

I don't think it's really a final build item, but it's a good core item for early/mid game.
