well you can either get a capture card or you can use what i use (which takes alot more time btw) is i ran my xbox into a dvd writer/player and use blank dvd's to record with but capture card is by far the easiest

You can find some at best buy but it would be better to look on ebay or amazon.

They are either external or internal devices that capture audio and video from any source.

Here is an example of one :

Once you get it, you can use a program called VirtualDub (Vdub for short) to capture your gameplay.
