I'm not a fan of Windows 8 but I prefer any Windows over Mac. I'll pick the Surface.

I wanted a surface and my parents got me the air. It depends on what you want to do with it. In terms of gaming, the best it can run is Hearthstone. But it can run anything else like chrome and shit perfectly fine.
