In order to feel the full benefit of Windows 8 and 8.1 you need to use them for an extended period of time, then you'd see that it is better then windows 7.

Windows 10 looks to be a bit of an improvement from windows 8.1 though the new icons aren't too appealing.
I do like that the windows menu is now a default thing and you don't have to install classic shell, and the multiple desktop function is a great idea.
I'm exited for it to come out.
