How can I be wrong if I like using 7 over 8.1? I didn't say 7 is much more superior than 8. All I'm saying I found 7 to be better than 8.1 from my experience of using both the OS's.

All I'm saying is that just because you have an opinion, it doesn't mean anybody needs to respect it; it doesn't mean it's a good one; and it doesn't mean that just because you are allowed to have any opinion you want, you don't still have a personal obligation to have some sort of standards.

When I said I prefer 7 over 8.1 you think I'll be using 8.1? I don't have it on my computer because I don't want to use it if I already have 7. We two computers that run windows 8.1 and I used them both.

I like Windows 7 because I found it to be more stable. I had very less crashes and it runs smooth. I faced many crashes with the other two computers that have 8.1.

I also like the UI of Windows 7. It's simple and does not use the stupid tiles. Every time I use Windows 8 I just stay on the desktop and never go and use the tiles.

I used windows 8 for a year and a half now so I think my judgement is accurate.
