I mean I've bought plenty of skins in league and all that jazz, I'm not opposed to this kind of thing. I just don't even understand where the market for something that expensive comes from.

League prices can be inflated as much as they want. But rarity in CS:GO is completely different, depends on amount in existence. The market is in some ways more reasonable and fair.
