SmG Battlefire Wrote:That is where you are wrong. 343i has posted a poll in Halo Waypoint asking the community if they want extra campaign content or multiplayer. Campaign got the highest vote so 343i had all DLC free with extra campaign content on release date. With another coop campaign coming three months after release for FREE. So all extra content including 15 maps will be free because they don't want people behind or miss out of the extra story.
So wrong again m8.
You're assuming the majority of people who play the Halo games visit Halo Waypoint, which we both know they don't.
You're assuming the extra campaign content will be any more relevant to the majority of the people who don't really care about Halo's campaign, which it won't.
The thing about saying "wrong again" is that I have to be wrong a first time. I called Halo, just like most other AAA bullshit, to lack any sort of significant depth. You answer back by stating that it has 400 trillion books. Well that's fan-fucking-tastic, but for starters we are talking about Halo (and really all AAA rehashes) GAMES, as in the game itself. Last I heard, the books weren't demonstrated at E3. Last I heard, you don't
play books, so not only are you wrong, but your argument is irrelevant to this conversation anyway. Depth means more than 10,000 pages of "lore". These AAA games are not inventive, they clearly have no incentive or ambition to do things that would brake their financial model, and so they don't innovate or reimagine themselves or even, oh I don't know,
start new IPs after 8 games of the same shit. And that's the fucking problem, is that people like you think that depth comes from quantity, not quality, so you demand nothing from them, and this is what we get.
