Considering it I could raid and have TS open for 6 hours, and that would only chew 100MB of my data, Im going to say yeah I expect optimized netcode.

WoW has one of the best netcodes ever developed, the fact that it has been in development for ~15 years makes it the best and most stable. The game was made in a time where ~30% of the players still used dail-up phones to play.

If you have Win7-10 the botnet will now use stupid amounts of data.

I believe the way WoW works, is it just stores every possible thing a "NPC" or "Player" could do as single value codes. So that the local client would just play everything based on that code, instead of the server sending every single piece of data in realtime.

EG.( Response code: 23 for a player who is a warlock would cause their lvl {A} summoned beast {B} to spawn on the local client)

This is only in Raids, Dungeons and etc. I am positive PvP is different
