AMD vs NVIDIA discussion thread v2.0 (?)

Let's have this discussion! Seeing how were in need of another fresh topic here is a good place to start if any.. So what do you think is better and why? Feel free to get all technical, the more the merrier.

Personally I am a NVIDIA person, all other AMD computers I got either had GPUs underperforming or software missing (with my brothers GPU failing today). From what I seen even the new A10 series (laptop), generally are sub-par with the 800M series, running a 850M myself. (Yes I am a notebook noble) xD.

AMD GPU's are gonna stop being a thing soon, they will focus on their CPU production. They are slowly catching up to intel in terms of performance. On the GPU side they are only falling farther and farther behind.

You just compared a normal processor to a server processor.

Re: AMD vs NVIDIA discussion thread v2.0 (?)

They are built differently and are generally not for consumer use because they are different. They are made to do intense operations and operate under heavy load and are typically alot more expensive for newer models. If you are going to compare any two AMD or Intel using server or consumer, make sure you look at the AMD server processors as well cause those also exist.
