Here I will give you quick guide on how to install and where to get the ROMs needed to play with us on PokéMMO.

If you have any issues, questions or general queries please post below! 

Installing the PokéMMO client:

• First create an account here: https://pokemmo.eu/account/
  
• Then once you've down that download the PokéMMO client here: https://pokemmo.eu/downloads/
  
• Once you've finished the download install the client and login.
  

Downloading the ROMs:

The ROMs are actually the game itself. In PokéMMO you can play Fire Red and Emerald so you will need these ROMs. Heart Gold is an optional ROM that will allow you to have your Pokémon following you in game, you don't need Heart Gold but if you want it the download is bellow.

•  Fire Red and Emerald download links (clickable).
  
• Additional Heart Gold download if you want your Pokémon to follow you.
  

Loading the ROMs:

The ROMs folder for PokéMMO is located in your Appdata Roaming folder.

• Press Control + R - to open 'Run'
  
• Once there type the following: %appdata%\PokeMMO\roms
  
• Then press enter or 'Ok' - This will open the roms folder.
  
• Once there simply drag and drop the ROMs into the folder.
  
• Restart your client, login and you should then be able to create and customize your character!
  

When Customizing your character:

It will ask you what region you would like to start in, Kanto or Hoenn

For those that don't know Kanto is Fire Red, and Hoenn is Emerald.

It doesn't really matter what region you choose to start in because once you get 4 gym badges you can then switch between the different regions with the same character.
