This is like a crazy big thing in Australian unis right now. It came up after some university reported 50% of sexual harassment done to female students. Wonder if this is a thing in other universities around the world.

How do you define sexual harassment? Is the study self reported? These days you need to take these kinds of "initiatives" with a grain of salt. Especially with the ideology modern universities tend to instill, there's a vested interest in making a mountain out of a mole hill. Think about it like this- if your ideology is predicated on perpetuating the notion that women and men aren't treated equally, regardless of the validity of that statement, wouldn't you want people to think that everybody is getting raped and shit?

They use to pull these same kind of "we wuz raped and shit" bullshit statistics on american universities too until people wised up to the fact that getting drunk and letting some dude finger bang you and regretting it the next day isn't exactly sexual assault, it's called being a stupid 20 something.

Pretty sure it was females only. I heard it on the radio whilst in lab. Don't remember perfectly. But it sparked this whole thing.

If you consented but later regret it. That is not rape or sexual assault. Many people think the idea of consent that does apply when there is regret.

Zzzzzzzzzzzz I know the study could be flawed. Lecturers at our uni were actually talking about the study and its potential flaws with it, like literally yesterday. Point is, has other universities in like USA done stuff like this?

It was, they had this whole "1 and 3 women will be groped and shit ;( damn rape culture" that they touted around, and people called bullshit on it after awhile. It was just a bit of propaganda to try and convince the general public that patriarchy exists as part of their postmodern ideology.

I mean, why would anyone listen to anything a 20 year old female has to say? Literally the dumbest demographic there is.
