So we are lucky enough to have PirateEggs work on some of our homepage which need some style changes. This is what he came up with. Personally I think it looks great.

works better on phone now. removed the animation on phones, but iOS isn't being obnoxious, it's the best it will be on iOS. sozza not sozza.
if you do Request Desktop Site, you get a much better experience, but that's just how Bootstrap works.
