from season to season, are the ranks equivalent, meaning someone season 3 that was plat does that mean they are good as or better or worse than season 7 plat? i see some people that have i guess good early seasons and now they are just kinda bad now.

Some people lose interest over time so may only be playing for the 10 placement matches and then leaving :)
