Invest half of it into bitcoin, buy a tiny house on wheels and a truck to pull it, put 100k into a mutual fund, buy a food truck, put the rest into savings.

Pretty sure bitcoin is dead. Like, if Facebook has ads for it, it's pretty much dead.

Bitcoin has been going up, my friend invests into it quite a bit. Considering the current state of the markets it's actually a rather good investment.

Your friend doing it doesn't mean it's good unless he's a successful investor that's invested in bit coin from like almost 10 years ago. Then that's worth. What you invest now will either gain minimal, lose or gain nothing at all.
