This is 80% fake. I mean it would be AWESOME if that was true. . .
Ryzen 2 and ZEN 2 are two different things though.
Ryzen 1 aka Summit Ridge is the first version at 14nm
Ryzen 2 aka Pinnacle Ridge is a refresh at 12nm FinFET.
According to AMDs official roadmap Zen 2 will be running on Globalfoundries 7nm.
According to AMD, Zen1 is released in 2017 and Zen3 should be there by 2020. Zen2 is between but no time mentioned.
My theory:
AMD will present us a Zen 1 refresh. Whether they call it Ryzen 2 or Ryzen 1, idk. If AMD uses the extra 10-16% space from GlobalFoundries 14nm to 12nm FinFET for 10-16% higher clocks, this should let u run the CPUs at 4,7 GHz max, instead of Ryzen 1's 4,2 GHz max.
If AMD wanted to add 12 cores, they would need to optimize the ZEN Zeppelin DIE in such a special way that 12 (6+6) instead of current 8 cores (4+4) fit into the Zeppelin DIE.

Cant wait for Intel to release a mainstream 8 core cpu that will demolish AMD :^)

Ice Lake comes at the 2nd half of 2018 at 10nm with apparently a 8C16T mainstream i7.
But the way I know Intel it will cost $400 or more.
Until then Ryzen 2 refresh will dominate. Even after 8C16T mainstream i7 is out, AMD will most likely have the better prize performance ratio xD. I mean Newegg sells 8C16T Ryzen 7 1700 for $250 wtf.

The whole Coffee lake lineups already demolishes ryzen in gaming in terms of fps. Until game devlopers lean towards more core count, clock speed will always triumph.

If you OC your 6 or 8 core Ryzen to 4.1 Ghz and use DDR4 3200 14-14-34 you can close the gap quite a lot
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6yp7Pi39Z8
Just skip to the benchmarks
And the ryzen refresh should give 10-15% more IPC

You're also forgetting that you can overclock intel cpus pass 5ghz and also pair it with ram speeds FASTER than 3200 up to 4800.
