If anyone still remembers, an Overwatch tournament/event was hosted a while back by me. Due to recent demand another will be hosted. 

So here are the rules/agenda:

- It will be played in 3 rounds 
- Score to win for each will be 40 for each gametype, may change depending on number of players

- First round will be FFA Mystery Heroes
- Second round will be FFA Ana Paintball
- Third round FFA Total Mayhem

If you want more information on each event, details will be in spoilers. I will include the list of maps at some stage, but they will be most of the Deathmatch maps used in Arcade.

The event will take place on the 3rd February at 10pm EST / 3rd February at 7pm PDT / 4th February 2pm AEDT.

Unfortunately, due to me hosting, there will be an issue with regional ping since I play on the Americas Region, Australian server. So depending on where you live, your ping could very well range from 10-350ms. 

Please count yourself in via the poll so that I have an idea of numbers.

First round:

 
This first round will be the same as the event that was hosted last time, except more condensed. So rather than having 3 rounds of the same game mode, there will be just 1 round on a random map.

These are the details for those that are unfamiliar with what I'm talking about:
- It will be a Free For All Deathmatch mode of up to 12 players at a time. 
- If there are more than 12 people, then some people will be rotated out for those that haven't experienced the game mode.
- It will be played in Mystery Hero form, meaning, every time you die, you will be given a random hero. This is to prevent those with mains to dominate the game for as long as they wish and introduces variety as well as allowing those with less skill to have a chance at beating those at the top.

Second round:

 
For those unfamiliar with Ana paintball, you can easily find examples of it on Youtube, famous streams, as well as in the custom game browser in the Overwatch client.

Here are the rules anyway:
- It will be FFA
- You can only pick Ana
- Everyone starts with only 20 health.
- No grenade, sleep dart will be available with no cooldown.
- Sniper/gun will have infinite ammo
- No melee

This game mode promotes aim and is well known for being easily montage-able by racking up almost 10 kills in a single POTG.

Third round: 

 

This is a newly introduced game mode that will have the same rotation of maps and share similarities to the classic Total Mayhem you would find in arcade mode.

Rules:
- Deathmath style game
- Hero Select is available, all heroes available
- Same map rotation as the other game modes
- 2x Speed and 2x health
- 2x Damage received and dealt, 4x cooldowns. (There are exceptions for some heroes because they were too strong and had to be changed)

I really need a suggestion for another game mode. Please post some ideas below. Thanks. Preferably not a 6v6 since I'm almost certain we don't have enough people.

Total mayhem requires either Escort/KotH/Hybrid/2CP which is effectively a 6v6 typically in Arcade.
Please specify what conditions you mean. 3v3? 4v4? How are teams decided?

Brobro, you can do a knock-out elimination or something similar, or a 1v1 mini tourney in the tourney itself, with random draws and stuff. Not too sure.
Will let you know if anything else comes to mind.

I agree with your sister an elimination round would be a challenge and since it's a 1v1 against each other 1 loses winner moves to next opponent it will give motivation for the gamers to fight their hardest against the other competitors. not to mention gives you the fun of elimination of competitors hehe anyway just a thought and agreement

My version of total mayhem: deathmatch, but health, damage, and healing received are set to 500% as well as ult duration and generation being set to 500% and start with ult set to true. Pretty much you do 1 damage you get ult, which winds up in total chaos

The 1v1 knockout elimination should be its own tournament, not be a part of one. And that could also take awhile.

A total mayhem deathmatch might be interesting. I'll have to come out the details though, but ill look into that
