I have a Compaq HP AMD laptop CQ61-420US Notebook with windows 10.

Is there any way I can overclock my laptop to make games run just a little faster? It runs games fine but sometimes say L4D2 on certain areas I have lower FPS because of what's around me.

a laptop like that is most likely not overclockable i would result in getting a desktop, or try over clocking you gpu if you have one with msi afterburner

Yeah I wouldn't advise it. Even though I got the hardware to do it, I don't want to risk shortening the lifespan of parts.

If you really want to, get a desktop that can be designed to do it.
