My advice is that, when you hear fire sounds don't panic instead spring a bit then get prone lock. After spotting the enemy make sure you take your time to get him/her under the crosshair. Then kill the f* out of him.

I'd advise to collect all kinds of scopes you see on the way. You won't know what kinda weapons you'll end up with. Same strategy for scope view too. Be sure you take some time and aim patiently.
