These are but ideas I have the suggestion to make #Rules the first channel you see when joining the discord which makes said joiner read the rules first and restricting their access to other channels by only giving them a channel called #verify and #rules making them verify themselves and read the rules giving them a general idea of what is right and if they don't follow said rules they get a warning I also have a bot which auto-warns if a rule isn't followed and has the ability to ban them at a certain amount of rules. But then again these are only ideas.

It's a nice suggest though our reasoning behind general chat being the first thing was to help people integrate into conversation and have a chance to just jump into a conversation to get to know people. Also feel like rules are a common sense thing, every server has em, so it's implied that you carry that with you wherever you go. Depending on scenarios, we do have bots that deal with links/spam and things like that, so it's okay. Just my two cents. xD
