Debating can include politics but I think the word debating is nice and broad.
I know it will be used quite a bit if it is made a thread but you can also do an update to the discord and make it a text and/or voice channel.
It would help separate those who want serious debates and those who just want to play games and be epic memers.jpg.

Eh, we're a gaming community, so our main purpose IS to play games which is what we want to encourage, but feel free to form your own groups in voice channels (got private ones and stuff), just keep it out of general chat, and keep the discussion friendly so no one gets offended.

We might host a debating event. But with the current way events are going, might need to hold out on that one.

Yeah, an event would be solid. As CC said, we focus more on the gaming aspect that anything else :)
