Alright, fellas. Chemistry isn't my strong suit and nothing makes sense to me when it comes to the decomposition reactions and chemical reactions and bleh. It's just basic Chemistry I stuff but asdfghjkl;


Basically, I have to do stuff like..:

Write the balanced chemical equations for the decomposition of Potassium Carbonate --> _____

Write a complete and balanced chemical equation for Cl₂+ MgI₂   _____


That's just to give ya an idea, but yeah any kind of help would be gucci. I'm not looking for the answers to these specific problems which is why even just a simple explanation would be good to know.

^I think? I haven't done chem in ages. But I think those were the valencies.

You have keep check on valencies . If you remember the valencies it's easy and always try using even numbers. Try to refrain from odds.
