what is the reason for people joining the military ? other than serving the country , are there any other reasons why people join air force , navy , army , marines etc

Commitment to country, and because if you serve long enough they will pay for your College ontop of your salary to help you make up for the PSEO that you might have missed by being in service.

I generally like warfare and strategy and considered joining it because of that.
But Denmark dont do war, soo it would be kinda boring here
