First you need to destroy all the pillars that heal the ender dragon. I recommend crafting plenty of ladders to climb each piller. Once all pillars are destroyed, use a bow and arrow to attack the dragon. But when it gets closer to you l, use a diamond sword. 

Also have diamond armor on. Usng enhancements on your armor, bow, and sword is a very wise decision.


The pillar part is easy, it's just that arrow don't seems to work on the dragon a bit. I play as first person and the pumpkin I wear hinders the view. I have absolutely no experience in other views. As far as now all I've managed is to get only 1/4 of the dragons life it always gets me , one way or the other. Can you tell me about some potions in which I can dip my arrows.(A total noob at alchemy, so do include the procedure of preparation.
