Do  You Trust the News Media?

I personally do not trust much in everything I read from magazines or newspapers or whatever I see and hear from television and radio because I know that there is a big possibility of existence of MISTAKES in what they transmit to us:   Because they are humans, journalists make  mistakes: A misspelled word, a misplaced comma, an error in grammar --->these can all distort the meaning of a sentence. Facts may not be carefully checked also Most of the media aims to profit in the first place and The media always overlooks critical questions .

Partially yeah. Media and the Internet are the only source that gives us news and it's a fact that there'll be plenty of mistakes in them. I believe the news by media when I hear it from more than one source and if it still doesn't make any sense, I research on them. But 98 ℅ of the time, I don't care about these news, mostly cause here in India the main topic is politics and I hate it. The other 2℅ of the time when I do listen is to stuff like ‘attack on Syria ’ , ‘weather’ and so on.

Well, it's like anything. Look at the sources. Look at different writings about the same topic. Conclude with yourself what has actually happened. I feel like it isn't that hard to tell fact from fiction if you do enough research.
