So what is your favourite time in human history?

Mine is personly the viking age (Early dark ages). 
Why? because the most awesome people lived there, Vikings. 
The people there made me who I am. Blonde, blue eyes, and awfully terrifying. (Pls agree)
And it was in that time Denmark had most influence of the world. 
A lot of english has roots in old norse.
like 
Window = Vindue
Here = Her
Farewell = Farvel
and so on...
