Pretty much believed in the tooth fairy, thanks to my Uncle. He told me about it so when my tooth came out, simply hidden it under my pillow. Then the next day, I saw a pound coin and cried with excitement. I was around 4 that time. It was my uncle who put it there in my sleep. The time I figured out it was a fake was when I was aged 6.

I don't know if this counts, but I used to believe the tradition saying if you shake your legs while eating, your fortune will go down. So I fell for it and never shook my leg until I was in my teens. Boi was that torture

When I was younger (maybe 7-8 years old) I always wanted to play Midnight Club with my big brother on the PS2 and drive around. The entire time I thought I was playing-- turns out he never  plugged my controller in and just let me sit with him instead. That gave me such false confidence ngl.

I tricked my younger sister into thinking that "Elated" meant dying. So when we used to play some villager simulation game; her villagers status would be "elated" and she'd be stressing out as to why they were dying. That was great, lol.

When I was in the first grade, every day after school I'd come back to watch DBZ and eat spring rolls because we finally had cable and you could only get it on Cartoon Network.

For a couple years they'd only run it til the end of the Frieza Saga and then restart. Right before they premiered the Android Saga, we cut the cable because we couldn't afford it. My brother would bike to his friend's house to watch it, and when he came back he'd tell me what happened in that episode.

I found out years and years later when I actually watched through the show that he made everything up. All of it. He created an entire new storyline with the same characters. It stuck with me for so long that even though I've seen the whole thing, and read the entire Dragonball manga start to finish, I still confuse it with the story he told me.
