RE: What can be found in Anime that you can't get from Cartoons?
Anime give me something more than cartoons, this is just well done emontional show (yeah, mostly) but there are well done cartoons too like Adventure Time or Regular Show, but in anime I can see more than in cartoons... mostly more boobs...

ANIME > CARTOON > SERIES
ITS A FACT SO STFU
i wont talk about what anime contains, its pretty much the same in cartoon and anime its just that anime does every thing better what cartoon fails to do
anime has a community WORLD WIDE and the expectations (before watching a anime ) expectations matters rick and morty got popular and ppl had a expectation for it to be good so they watched it and it got popular
cartoons has a completely dead community i mean come on how many discord servers will have anime in their description and how many will have cartoon in their description.
the fights/ battles in anime are unique to it self

I always thought about this. Even in Marvel and DC, they hire writers and artist before giving them a project to work on. I know it's less ethical to hire based on how good your work is, as a 3rd party you're not really given employee benefits and stuff, but Japans idea of "Make first then we hire" kinda makes their animations more interesting. They test the waters with manga before putting in the money. It's kinda the way art should be imo But of course that's just for adaptations. There's plenty of hired writers and artists that make amazing stuff like Code Geass.
