My main goals in college were to do well in my degree, get into med school, and study abroad.

The most helpful thing I did was to sit down and plan my entire schedule for all of college. I was a non-science major so it was extra helpful with logistics. I just looked up requirements for our core, my major, pre-med at the schools I was considering, and what I could do during the study abroad programs I was interested in and planned it all out - even if there were some blanks like "elective" it still gave me a rough idea of how it would all go and was VERY helpful in terms of getting things done so I could make things like study abroad and summer research happen and time my MCAT/application when I wanted them.
I think my main challenge/perceived challenge was time management b/c I'm a procrastinator haha. I was really hard on myself first semester which was good in some ways, but I also didn't sign up for any ECs, and I think I could've handled one or two and maybe have met some of my friends earlier (or had a job lol).
I feel like my HS did prepare me well for college but there were still some adjustments academic-wise, my advice would just be to take any feedback you can get from professors/TAs/older students and don't be afraid of going to office hours or the writing center if needed.

My biggest challenge was doing labs in front of people.
Like, I don't like to be judged on my way of doing things. What's the point if the end result is the same?

I hated chemistry and loved biology. But I had to study both of them for science. Here I am studying BS in BioChemistry. Still hate the chemistry part but I cant do anything. I accepted it.
