It matters on the person. I like pubg better just because on how the mechanics of the game work, ppl will disagree but they are similar in gameplay but they both have their ups and downs so yeah....

Depends on the person, some people are more lenient to straight up combat and FPS and also people who are more competitive usually prefer PUBG but I'm someone who prefers Fortnite since it's more fun due to the skill you need via building and what not.
