My graphics card is a Nvidia GTX 980 FE and it runs quite well but it has coil whine. I've tryied a lot of things. Dampers, better cooling and so on... Heck, I even changed the thermal paste on the GPU. Nothing worked. It works well but It runs balls hot and I also get spikes sometimes. It didn't happen before.
Is there any other solution I could try? or Is it time to change my graphics card? If yes what would be the best value one?
You cannot get rid of coil whine, so just get used to the sound or buy any mid tier GPUs from Nvidia or AMD due to the inflation of high tier GPUs.
or else wait for the new GPUs that may come in the near future.
