water is not wet. for something to be wet it needs a liquid on the surface of a solid for it to be wet. water is not a solid its a liquid so there for water can not be wet because there is water on it if water were to tough then they would come together. if say oil is on water because its lighter than water then yeah it would be wet then but water on water isnt wet
