Love, as the song says, is a many-splendored thing. So, when we find it, we're keen to enjoy the spoils. But what is it about humans that makes us long for love in the first place? it turns out the most inherent reason is also probably the least romantic.

To this day at least for me its been a constant mystery, much has went on in my life, but i still don't know much about this, i don't even fully understand my type, yes I've had crushes since i was young, but still. Love is something most human desires, from great friends to relationships, people seek different things, to find a perfect soul mate or find someone you can relate to and be there for you.

Passing on genetic information is the main factor. As for monogamy, that's still unsolved, but it may be to do with survival strategy.

Why we love is simple, to make new generations. But what do we love in people, what (On average) makes someone want to be with someone?

Many traits that relate would be how strong the person is mentally and physically, and how good they are at caring for people. Basically family values are extremely important to love.

If you're looking for what you can do to make yourself more "loveable". Here's what it is.

-take care of yourself, shower, eat, workout. Not everyone will look like a supermodel but people can tell when someone is a slob.

-Talk to people more, the only way to become more socially attractive is to communicate with people. I personally was an introvert but I forced myself to talk to people and now I can do so easily.

-Stand up for your values. Don't be a pushover, be strong in what you believe. If someone sees someone who can't do that then they won't want to be with them. How can you stand up for someone else if you can't stand up for yourself?
