I've seen so many of these threads. Well, at least 3.

Sony Vegas is good, although a little on the pricey side. You can find it for cheap or free if you look hard enough though. I think steam had a sale on Sony Vegas 14 for $30-ish dollars a month or two ago, so it's bound to happen again soon.

I would say Blender just for its free of use, and more. But to top it off substance painter and designer are also very important for editing 3D models, also the use of Unreal Engine 4 is cool.
