I am pretty sure PirateEggs knows heaps about minecaft so you can ask him for help.

The server is running on an unstable version of Bukkit, there has not been a stable release for Bukkit 1.8 yet, should be all done in a day or two.
So, if the server isn't running properly, that will be why.

Minecraft is also still in Beta, so you can't expect it to work 100% anyway, running unstable and mostly untested versions in worse, but it's mostly fine.

I will have it all set up when the mods have been released, so until then just play around on the server, do what you want, everyone has "creative" mode.

yeah found the sever before u posted this i'm nubs btw if u didn't pick that up
but i'm having trouble with local networking/ lan connections i can't even connect to it

ok i got some help from friends and i have my local mc server running very small scale though it can only handle 10 people.
