I dont know. I kind of like the idea of not having to battle every single god damn wild pokemon on the routes. Walk four steps then wild fight, wlak another 10 then another wild fight. I know repellents are in the game to avoid that but the wild encounters are also your main source of exp. Same with being able to see which pokemon is roaming around. Being able to pick your fight seems glorious.
