It plays like a moderate role for me, it’s not that important for me to want to do it for more than of my lifetime, but not also of minimal value for me to neglect
Well, it depends on how you define education. And I intend to keep this short af.
If you're strictly talking in terms of academics, I would say it matters to me definitely because being qualified (earning a degree)for something you're good at, or something you love doing is definitely worth it. Because let's be honest no one is going to take your word for how good you are at something.
I find that many people nowadays do not have a degree but seemed to pretty well versed in what they do or the term might be "learned", I'm not sure if you meet that person and call him well educated if he doesn't have degrees to go with it. I mean this is a contested topic so he might be skilled, but not educated? I'm not too sure lol

An education is important. You may know your books but part of education is to learn certain skills that could be of use. Learning how to cooperate with others, work efficiently as a team, being able to listen to somebody taking in his information then processing it for your own. There are stuff that book may not be able to show you the full spectrum. There are aspects of education that are not necessary but Education as a whole is a requirement. What is so bad about taking in someone's years of experience, filtering it and then make use of it.
