I've been thinking about this for a while and had to put it off due to lack of time and being lazy in general.. but how'd it get it's name?

If I remember correctly from the OG's. It came up in a Halo 2 match. Maybe a gamemode?

I don't think Halo has a gamemode called SmG.

So like Hawk said SmG stands for "So Many Guns." Cloud's favorite artist is Lil Wayne, Mine too but that's just cause we're OGs, and Lil Wayne has a old song named So Many Guns. So no it's not a game mode from Halo. This community was originally created just for Halo 2 though.

Cloud and Hoax both were drug dealer and they had a lot of Gun . They Decided to Leave that b...while they quit ,they were left with So Many Guns ...From there SmG got its name ...xD
