My dad gave his old computer with a Radeon HD 5670 and every time I load up League of Legends it freezes and when I play halo it'll go to grey screen then come back. The fan works and the air is cool in there, it's not warm nor hot. Kinda getting mad now cause I can't play a full game. I've tried lowering the screen resolution and nothings working. Does anyone know whats happening? It'll also did the same thing when he had a GeForce GT 440.

It's the computer itself. It can't cope with Halo/ League of Legends. Best off getting a new one.

Maybe you send it to a computer geek to fix it up. But mostly I believe it is the fan. Without the fa. The computer will not work well.

Hm reformat the pc check drivers. Install updates. Should fix it unless there is a hardware problem.

Fan runs well. Computer can run games without the graphics card and installed all drivers I need for it. Still acting up. Re-formated already aswell.

And R3c0N those are for the 5700's and 5800's. I have a 5670.

Also tried overclocking the fan which made it better so do you think all I need is more fans or a graphics card with better fans? Idk.

Also the on board one works fine and I don't think there's a problem with not enough power cause I have a 500w Power supply

Thats for 5xxx series, anyway, did you try it. Its just a software fix, it wouldn't hurt much.

I took it in to get looked at and the problem was that the motherboard was shocked.
