it's fake but cool and if they did do it they would need to put it as an optional.
BTW capcom has nothing to do with halo (never has, never will) and you could tell it was fake from the fact that when a game is in dev stage they dont make the mini-games until the full game is complete and are often done as an after thought.

so it is not part of the game, it is actually a separate piece of software and is not part of the game.

No, it's a completely different game with no association with Halo is anyway at all, they are only using the masterchief to boost sales of Halo, if you have a save of Halo on your Xbox, or Halo as a game you have played on your account, you will unlock Masterchief in DoA 4.

It's no software, it's a game.
