I am trying to install Halo 2 Vista on my Windows 7 Professional computer (64bit) - When I insert the game I have the options to install the map editor / dedicated servers / and change the directory of where I want to install the game. When I choose any of the install options nothing happens at all.



I dont get any error codes at all. The game simply just doesnt do anything. Is there a reason for this?

What do you mean by this?

I dont have any viruses, spyware, malware or registry errors. I take care of my computer daily and make sure its up to date.

I have recently updated Games for Windows client, I tried updating my video card (which was already up-to-date) , I checked specifications for the game, and I clearly pass them.

I find it really weird, you might want to make a post on the i4ni clan forums and gfwl forums too. It could be a problem with your DVD driver, but I kinda don't think so from what you've said. Some one else is bound to have had this problem before. Try some other H2V clans like All star Killers, i4ni, and monstr moose and post on them all, alot of there members are very helpfull. I would give you link to each of their forums but I am a little constranded because I'm on my iPod. If anyone could, please post the links. Hope this helps!

1. Delete the current program installed (H2V)
2. Re-insert the disk
3. Re-download

if this doesnt work try this:
1. the disk might be scratched
2. Your diskdrive has gone bad*
3. Run a defrag on your computer
4. Run a system scan for virus or cookies**

* if you have a warranty get a new disk drive, if not go out and buy a new one.
** enough cookies can serverly slow down your computer performance which might take out the needed space for the program to work.

If this doesn't work..... :/
