So I think its dope you doing signatures, and its clear that you have a good idea on how ae works.
I do have somethings there maybe help you next time.

1. The smg logo is not transparent, you can easy find the smg logo in a transparent version. If you need it I can send it to you.
2. I can see you wrote your name in signature? See the dope thing is in ae, you can actually get the program to trace things, which means, if you had a png file of your name, the program can trace it and make the animation that you are trying to achieve.
3. when you are making the glitching effect, you are moving the background too, which ruins the effect a bit, you should have the background and the logo on two diffrent layers, so it only effects the logo.

If it's your first time, you have potential. It's like cartoon themed lol. Keep it up. Also try keep the color theme matched like blue and dark blue, light blue or black, white grey etc etc.
