I think that EVERY existing text channel should be made into New members and up^ only channels , but make a new text channel which unregistered or ONLY registered people can speak in.
I feel like a large majority of people asking to play games arent even part of the community, and if they spent a few minutes registering then they might be more inclined to stick around for longer.
This would also make the discord ALOT more easily moderated as your supports ^ would only need to focus mainly on that channel in regards to people advertising discord links & posting nsfw content.
The voice channels arent as much of an issue so they wouldnt really need changing
