Halo 2. This was way back in 2011 where SmG was a Halo Clan. I ran into people on Halo 2 Vista and I was interested in joining. We had the tryout system where you had to pass a test by 1v1 to join. Funny enough I didn't pass but the fellow who tested me still got me in. And here I am, after all these years.

I downloaded Discord to try make a server of me and my friends. That time I never knew you could publicly join other people's servers so the first server I saw was SmG. That's where the journey began.

I was looking on discord list servers for a server with a large amount of people. I joined smg for fun, but I eventually found out I wanted to stay. There were many nice people when I just started chatting, such as Kirby (when Kirby was still admin) and R1V4L. They both helped me get used to SmG. After a while, Duck also became one of my friends. And after a while, many others also became my friend. I do not regret joining SmG and I will never. (If you actually read the whole thing thank you, I'm sorry if I wasted your time..)

I guess I was looking for a gaming community and I found this, it turned out to be much more than what I thought.

That's a looong story that I don't think anyone wants to hear. The short story was I basically pulled the old restart on discord, and I needed a comfortable place to chat with people, since discord basically became everyone hating me at the time. I met an amazing person on there, and some personal things happened here, so I left, but I'm back now and hopefully for the long run.
