I'd rather play Minecraft. I've played terraria before but i didnt like it.

I played both and tbh Terraria is more fun in terms of the mods it has without any DLCS but Minecraft gives you more depth :D

Terraria may be 2D but there's way too many content in terraria than minecraft. You can never get bored of it as you're discovering new things. If terraria was 3D, minecraft would die.

Comparing base game Minecraft to base game Terraria, Terraria just simply has much more content in every point of the game and clear goals to meet which make it more engaging of a game. Minecraft needs mods to give it quests and goals at it's current state it's still more of a creative sandbox than anything. There's just more things to craft and interact with in Terraria than there is in Minecraft the only way Minecraft can compete is with mods but Terraria with mods still surpasses it by a lot. Plus you don't need to have a beefy pc to run some massive modpack for Minecraft when you can run Terraria on a lower end pc with mods. Plus 10 dollar purchase vs 26 dollar purchase. The reason I say this is that for a majority of people Minecraft isn't viable to play without an 100+ modpack if they are a long time player whereas for me I could return to vanilla Terraria and be okay with it in comparison. I've owned both games for around the same amount of time.

Both are fucking amazing games,you can't say which one is better because both of them are the best in their own category.
